Wood-fired
This piece was side-fired on shells near the firebox. This clay
is a blend of one of my grolleg porcelain clay body recipes, mixed
with two Pennsylvania clays (mined by a friend), one of which
included feldspathic inclusions (which you can see in the finished
pots). One wet-watery side - one dry-desert side on this wall
vase.
