"It's Up There!......No, It's Over There!", #0907: $75

This vase measures 9.5 inches tall. It was fired in the Notre Dame University anagama (wood-firing kiln) for 7 days.

This piece had been previously fired in Mark Goertzen's anagama for 3 days.

The piece went into the first firing no glaze on it. So there is a total of 10 days worth of natural-ash accumulation to create the natural-ash-glaze surface.

Look at it from the front and the back. The same handles seem to suggest a different figurative pose: "It's up there.....no it's over there."

This is a lovely, stately, quasi-figurative vase. It stands alone with beauty and stature....it will host your finest flower arrangement with grace.

Firing Process: Wood-fired
Type of Work: vases (hanaire)
